ALDAR Academies – Our Vision and Educational Philosophy
Our vision is to build and operate excellent schools for our clients.
We believe there are 6 key elements to achieving this vision

1. The leadership of the school
ALDAR Schools will provide excellent leadership by recruiting strong and decisive leaders who have a clear vision of where the school is going and who have a previous track record of delivering high quality education provision as part of a leadership team.

2. The school staff
ALDAR will engage professional staff who care about the welfare of their pupils and the community, they will offer Continuous Professional Development Programmes (CPD) for all staff (teachers and support staff), to ensure they are familiar with the most current and effective strategies for learning and teaching. Staff needs to know they are valued, ALDAR will ensure that all staff are appreciated for their contribution to the work and life of the school. A quality assurance framework will ensure ALDAR Academy staff can use self evaluation techniques to achieve higher standards and success for their pupils

3. Relationship with parents and the community
Crucial to the success of any school is the relationship and engagement of parents and the local community in the life and work of the school. ALDAR will develop and maintain excellent relationships with parents and the local community through newsletters, school events and projects with the community.

4. Learning and teaching
The key priorities for education are

The exploration of new pedagogical styles and the move towards exploratory forms of teaching and learning through, for example, the use of Information and Computing Technology (ICT), will help learners become more creative, more organized and more systematic in their investigations and in so doing become more reflective learners.
ALDAR schools will use the power of new technology to make the learning experience fit the needs of the learner; we will use diagnostic testing to understand the strengths and weakness of pupils so we can focus in on these weaknesses and deliver improvements. We will use differentiated learning approaches which take account of the needs of the individual. Our schools will provide a breadth of opportunities which will allow individuals to maximize their talents.

5. School ethos
ALDAR schools will provide a broad and balanced educational system within a safe and stimulating environment. We will foster a climate conducive to learning and ensure there is a significant level of after school activities - clubs, orchestras etc. we will demand high standards of students and staff. We will openly declare a preference for clear well defined acceptable standards of behavior, dress, respect, courtesy and work ethic.
Our schools will provide an understanding and caring attitude to other cultures and backgrounds and we will maintain zero tolerance to bullying.

6. The school environment
ALDAR Academies will provide high quality high performing buildings with excellent resources by constructing buildings in an ecologically friendly manner which are fit for purpose. In addition to academic classrooms these will include - sports, creative arts, and science and technology facilities. All subject areas will have access to up to date ICT facilities to enable our students to keep pace with a fast changing world.
