Our Chairman's Message

Our Chairman's message

His Excellency Mohammed Al Mubarak

Aldar Academies was born out of demand in society for greater access to outstanding education in Abu Dhabi and the surrounding communities. From day one we have worked tirelessly to satisfy this demand, with our students and their futures at the heart of every decision we make.

You can see this in our eco-conscious construction, our pursuit of excellent teaching talent, and our investment in the most advanced facilities across technology, sports and the creative arts.

On this strong foundation we are not only building a future for our students that offers endless opportunities, but one that influences our communities in a positive way. This twin goal is hugely important to us, so much so that our guiding purpose is to empower our next generation to shape our future.

To this end, we are creating global citizens through our leading English, American, Arabic and Internationally-focused study programmes, which we teach to the primary ages right up to post-16. As a result, we are providing students with learning pathways that lead them across the world, empowering them to succeed at home or abroad and bring back knowledge that benefits UAE society. Although we’ve grown a great deal since 2007, our promise has remained unchanged - to deliver the highest standards of education and inspire a love of learning. I’m proud to say that evidence of this promise can be found across our entire network.

Our CEO’s message

Sahar Cooper

During over ten years of educating the next generation in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Aldar Academies has earned a deserved reputation for excellence that our students uphold daily. Our ambition is to be a national and global leader for education, and towards this goal, the success of our cohort as both students and citizens underlines our success as an education provider. As Aldar Academies’ CEO, I’m proud to say that our high-performance culture  ensures we meet and exceed today’s global standards.

To continue excelling into tomorrow, we’ve developed a future-focused curricula that encourages students to consider their role in solving global issues. We deliver it through experiential learning opportunities, inventive teaching methods, and a focus on today’s most relevant STEAM skills – science, technology, engineering, art and maths, to give each student the most relevant education possible. By also adopting a student-centric approach in all we do, we ensure that every pupil receives a well-rounded education that provides the care and guidance necessary for them to excel in all areas of life.

This - ‘The Aldar Academies Way’, undoubtedly underpins our leadership position, yet we also recognise just how much is gained in return when we contribute to the community outside our gates. True to our value of collaboration, partnerships are one way we will not only continue to deliver an outstanding education but shape the practice of teaching itself.

Through supporting universities in the development of education degrees, we can widen the pool of superb local teaching talent. We will also strive to work closely with the Ministry of Education to strengthen our provision of Arabic and moral education. By achieving the above, we’ll be in an excellent position to develop close ties with industry and invite leaders into our schools to inspire our students and further bolster our teaching outcomes.

Through these developments and the outstanding education already delivered across our academies and nursery, we are not only shaping our next generation to excel as the next leaders of industry globally, but also supporting the economic goals of Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030 Plan.

These ambitions are big and our expectations are high, but that’s because our students continue to prove they’re capable of such standards. Maintaining this success is at the core of my role as Aldar Academies CEO.
