Our Nurseries

OVERVIEW

Aldar Academies’ Al Forsan Nursery is located within the grounds of the prestigious Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi. Having opened during the Summer of 2018, our first ever nursery is fast becoming one of the most sought-after nurseries in the city.

Al Forsan Nursery will be supported by the same exceptional teaching standards and techniques that are currently delivered across our network of seven academies. Whilst providing the latest teaching and learning technologies combined with state-of-the-art facilities, the Nursery actively promotes the welfare of all students and equips them with the skills, knowledge and understanding to live positive, safe and healthy lives.

Classes available for FS1 and Pre- FS1 (children from 2 years to 4 years).

CURRICULUM

Al Forsan Nursery offers the English National Curriculum (Early Years Foundation Stage), the curriculum that sets the standard for learning, development and care for children aged from 2 to 4 years old - an ideal foundation to prepare them for the start of primary school. Our Nursery students receive a solid foundation in the key areas of learning and development, primarily taught through play and practical activities. The areas of learning are:

        •  Communication and language development
        •  Personal, social and emotional development
        •  Literacy
        •  Mathematics
        •  Understanding the world
        •  Expressive arts and design
        •  Physical development

Our unique programme will also include a distinct Arabic dimension, so students will also start the process of learning to read and speak in Arabic.

TEACHING STAFF

Our internationally qualified staff have specialised in training to work with pre-school children. They benefit from an uncompromising approach to teaching that draws on the latest and most effective teaching techniques and expertise found across our seven academies. A comprehensive Continuous Professional Development programme ensures our teachers are constantly learning to provide students with the most relevant education possible.

NUTRITION

Our daily routine ensures that children have sufficient time to enjoy the balanced and healthy packed lunches parents send in from home. The children have a mid-morning snack break and a lunch break.

EXTENDED HOURS ACTIVITIES

Al Forsan Nursery offers extended hours options.  Typical extended sessions may include language development through song, science experimentation, creative arts, sports, music exploration and storytelling. Our Nursery also benefits from the superb sporting and leisure facilities located within the Al Forsan International Sports Resort, including the Equestrian centre and swimming pool.  Parents may choose to make use of these facilities directly with Al Forsan International Sports Resort at exclusive discounted rates.
