This new initiative has launched across all of our English National Curriculum academies with a simple aim – helping our exceptional students reach a higher level of academic excellence.
The Aldar Academies promise is no secret: to deliver the highest standards of education and inspire a love of learning. Meeting this aim drives everything we do as a leading education provider and, during term three, we launched a programme that perfectly epitomises our promise in action – the Aldar Academies Academy of Excellence.
The aim of this unique and highly rewarding programme is to help our exceptional students fulfil their potential and reach a higher level of academic excellence – ultimately propelling them towards the world’s leading universities. What’s more, to support our exceptional participants on their way to university, we will also grant a financial reward towards year 1 tuition fees for four outstanding Academy of Excellence students each year. The programme is exclusively available to all Aldar Academies’ English National Curriculum students across years 5 to 13, and applications are open now. Before applying, here’s everything you need to know about the programme.

Students are recognised for their specific area of excellence

As students are accepted into the academy of excellence because of an exceptional ability in a certain field, the programme is segmented into categories that reflect four broad disciplines. The four categories are: academic, art & design, music, and sport. Each category comprises its own tailored programme of learning initiatives and activities, to maximise the benefit to enrolled students

The learning initiatives are challenging but hugely rewarding

The learning initiatives and activities are broad, varied and hugely rewarding for students. During the course of their programme, Academy of Excellence members will participate in masterclasses, workshops, discussions with renowned industry thought leaders, specialised educational visits, and internal projects. When combined with the guidance and encouragement of our teachers, these specially tailored educational initiatives will help to expand our students’ competences, skills and attributes at a higher level.

The programme complements our core curricula

While the Academy of Excellence provides students with a broad variety of learning experiences beyond the core curricula, it has also been designed to complement the aims and content of our students’ everyday studies. Therefore, students expand their skills and knowledge in the field they excel in while also gaining a well-rounded education overall.
